Stanley Todd was also recognised with an #MBE today and received his award from The Queen at Buckingham Palace. Stanley is Helmsman at London’s Tower lifeboat station and joined the @RNLI in 1980 he has rescued 295 people and saved 47 lives over the years!

Michael Neild was also recognised by Her Majesty today for services to Mountain Rescue UK and to the community in Greater Manchester. #MBE
Mick is one of the longest-serving mountain rescue leaders in the UK, having worked for the Oldham branch for 25 years and has attended over 1,000 rescue incidents. ? PA Images
