We got good news! Harlow had her first cavity-free dentist appointment last week! She has trouble with her tooth enamel (it never came in) and trips to the dentist are usually pretty horrendous for her. We were told at her last visit that she would probably need a silver cap on her tooth and that's what we went in expecting. Instead, due to cutting back on sugar and being super diligent about brushing (I am always present and assist her, plus she's been really good about using floss and rinse), we had our best dentist appointment ever! She was so proud that all her work paid off. We do not deny her sweets and candy entirely, and she will be trick or treating like all the other kids tomorrow. She just knows she has to brush her teeth extra well as soon as she gets home! Thank you @Crest for all the toothpaste! We need it.
