Shafiqullah, 12, had both legs amputated above the knee earlier this year after a rocket-propelled grenade was found by a group of children walking to school in eastern #Afghanistan, then brought home and dropped. Shafiqullah, the eldest of seven young #survivors, all members of a big extended #family, was photographed at home in Saed Tuba on June 25, a month after leaving the hospital in Jalalabad. He had shared a room there with two brothers, as their wounds were the most severe.
