This weeks baking endeavors have left me inspired but with a little more testing to do, working on a new recipe for my @yankeemagazine column. But in the meantime, this delicious and super simple apple galette - wonderfully seasonal - is on my mind for afternoon tea

warm from the oven, i love this robust crust full of cardamom (yes, its baked into the crust) and a sprinkling of crunchy sugar, it all goes so well with the sharp beautiful New England apples and a cup of earl grey
