After getting home from the competition season, I wanted to start an outdoor project. I found an old line bolted a decade ago, then forgotten, and decided to rejuvenate the line!

It took me a few days of cleaning, brushing, chalking, and searching but I finally got a first crack at it. Thanks for the belay @ヨルグ・バーホーベン and the photos @カタリーナ・ザーヴァイン ?

The route squeezes up a somewhat blank arête on heinously small crimps and tiny pinches. After the first session, there’s still a bunch of moves to figure out but it is seemingly possible... ?

It’s a cool process to go through and I figure if I eventually can’t do it, maybe someone else will be stronger and can link it together. Either way, great times in Squamish! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
