The Duke of Rothesay today visited Royal Lochnagar Distillery in Ballater.
The distillery first opened in 1845 and was named Royal Lochnagar following a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1848.
In 1988, a cask of Royal Lochnagar Single Malt Whisky was laid down for The Duke of Rothesay to mark the 140th anniversary of the first Royal visit.
Today, HRH was able to taste the 30-year-old whisky! Bottles from the cask are to be sold with proceeds going to @theprincesfoundation.
