Hong Kong is not only one of the world's most expensive places to live; it’s also one of the most densely populated. A high demand and low supply of living space has resulted in the construction of hundreds of high-rise buildings across the city -- all tightly jam-packed next to each other.

Photographer @kyle_yu took @cnnvision on a tour through the Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai districts -- quiet towns located far from the city's famed skyline and harbour. Yu thinks the buildings here showcase a true depiction of Hong Kong's most impressive and definitive architecture. “When you put this density together it does create a strong impact," he says, “I’m always gravitating towards contrast, colours and architecture." #MyHongKong
