For trans and non binary people, there is a disconnect between what society deems as a biologically male or female body and how they feel internally. For trans people, the path to feeling aligned and comfortable with themselves isn’t as effortless.  It would be a huge step for the trans community in the UK to be able to have an easier process of legally changing their gender, because when one feels a certain way, they should be able to align themselves just as effortlessly as anyone else,” says @ariel.nicholson, after the UK government calls on the public to share their opinions on how the Gender Recognition Act should be reformed.
