Was it a tux? Was it a cape? Rianne Van Pompaey’s opening exit for @sacai introduced some sartorial trickery that kept everyone on their fashion toes through a succession of intellectual design ideas. Mutated mlitaria, bibs, dilineating the boundaries of outer and inner linings, everything came with a carefully considered eye. There was some simplicity, too, in highly desirable denims and blotting paper patterns. The deconstructed wardrobe is alive and well at Sacai.
