Update to previous post - Vet confirmed neutered male, American Curl (likely purebred) approx 5-6 yrs old, 4 paw declaw....no microchip.
He got a good check over, ear cleaning (they were real dirty but no mites), and matted fur taken care of. He’s back in the care of the man who found him and we’re hoping we can reunite him with his family.
About the declaw - please keep in mind that his family may have adopted him already declawed and even if they didn’t, if they prove ownership (which will be required from anyone who claims he is theirs), it’s not my place to refuse to return him if in fact they did have him declawed. All I can do is try to educate them in a non-confrontational/respectful manner (shaming is not my style) and hope it’s enough to change their position to becoming anti declaw for any future cats. ?

I’ll update as soon as we find his family or he ends up available for adoption. He’s a VERY sweet & affectionate cat. You can hear him purring towards the end of the video. ?
