This is my last takeover post and I just want to say what an honor to be able to share my experience with you all. At about 600 kilometers – the Contwoyto Ice Road is said to be the world’s longest heavy haul ice road. This year the ice road was not constructed the entire length so we didn't quite make it to Nunavut. The road stopped at the  Ekati diamond mine, 100 km short of our goal, where we were stopped and questioned by mine security. After explaining our intent, the security staff gave us a tour and sent us on our way with well wishes. We went as far as we could, discovered the end of the road, and returned home feeling accomplished. #LiveYourAdventure
