Our next of #10featuredteachers Round 2 is Kathryn! Here’s the message she shared with me: “My name is Kathryn and I teach 3rd Math at Bear Creek Elementary. My school is at the heart of a community that was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. While our campus did not take on water, over 1,000 of the neighborhood homes did. Families are still in the process of rebuilding and school supplies are not a financial priority. I am seeking materials to help aid in building a community within my classroom and necessities for my students to get to school such as coats, socks, and umbrellas! Thank you!” Not only is she an amazing teacher working to help rebuild her community, but her dog is wearing a birthday hat. Let’s help her stock her classroom and take care of her students!!
