Our 10th of #10featuredteachers is Jazzi! Here’s the message she sent me “My name is Jazzi Goode I’m a teacher in CLT, NC at a brand new charter school. Our school is in the most impoverished area of Charlotte where I teach predominantly black and Latino children who lack seeing themselves in a positive light. Every year I dress up as a different person from black history during the month of February to expose my scholars to positive historical figures who mirror them. My wishlist consists of books of lesser and greater known figures and character ed books to provide daily access to positive images of themselves and their cultures. I’m very grateful for this. ❤️” You guys. She dresses up for school every day for the month of February to inspire her students?! Let’s hook this teacher up!
