Time for our next of #10featuredteachers... Meet Sara! “I am a new 8th grade Science Teacher at a public middle school in South Los Angeles! I’m working towards my physics teaching credential and Masters in Integrated STEM Education for Urban Schools. As I am currently getting experience in an 8th grade Science classroom, I see now what is needed to have a functional classroom. My goals are to promote diversity and inclusion in the STEM subjects as well as foster a transformative educational atmosphere in my class. Since I am a new teacher, I am starting from zero! This is my list of items I definitely need and with these items, I know our class will have a good foundation to make BIG MOVES in science education. Happy teaching!
