There was an article in the NYTimes last week called “The Existential Void of the Pop-Up Experience.” It was spot on and hilarious and I was mad I hadn’t written it first. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how these pop-ups are all about posting a photo that looks like you are somewhere cool... instead of actually being somewhere cool ??? But try explaining that to Mazzy and Harlow who saw a room full of bright pink balls and basketball hoops in a storefront window in TriBeCa and said, “Mom, can we go inside??
