On a hot and humid summer day, @nytmag asked 23 reporters and 10 photographers to fan out across the Sheep Meadow. They talked to hundreds of people for a special, print-only section that appears in the newspaper today: #NYTSundayInThePark. Among their questions for this group: How does NYC compare with where you’re from? “There’s a lot more gays here,” said Kyle, who’s from East Orange, New Jersey. “And even though I feel judged every day, I don’t feel as judged as I would feel if I was back in my hometown.” Are New Yorkers happier compared with people in other places? “Oh, my God, no,” Alexis said. “We’re so pissed!
