The history of #Venice is as interesting as this place is beautiful. Early settlers date back to 400AD after the fall of the Roman Empire. In an effort to flee the chaos of the northern Goths and Attila the Hun, many fled to the Venetian Lagoon. The city flourished in isolation and soon became a bustling city of international trade.
