What an incredible journey I've been on!! Tomorrow my days on the hardwood will officially be commemorated by an induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame!! Never in my wildest dreams could I have ever imagined this happening to me! What I've learned is, no matter what the task is at hand you have to commit to it and never give up! And around every corner there's someone that doesn't understand you or your mission, so what they will do is try to distract you or confuse you from your process. Don't let them succeed!!! Be stubborn about your mission and your goals. Don't let your friends or your enemies keep you from your greatness. I'm walking into a place tomorrow because I wouldnt give up on myself or my mission. There will be times where you will have to choose your mission over your friends or even family. Your friends will wonder why you don't hang out with them more! You will say, "I gotta put this work in". If they love you they will understand! If they don't understand, well now is where your challenges begin! And that will be your first stepping stone to become great at whatever it is youre gonna do in life!
