Colin Kaepernick is the face of Nike’s 30th anniversary campaign. I believe that freedom work MUST come with sacrifice. The goal is not to sacrifice out of guilt or for the sake of sacrifice itself (this can be martyrdom). But in attempting to fight oppression, there will inevitably be many choices we make where the anti-oppressive option will come with sacrifice. If you are willing to make no sacrifices, then you are not working for freedom. Or as Frederick Douglass said, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” #ImWithKap @コリン・キャパニック
