I love the layered truths in this quote!
It seems our culture widely portrays courage as ‘standing out while doing something loud and proud’. Sometimes this is truly admirable.
People I appreciate most for their courage are those who are quietly willing to feel. Willing to feel their fear or shame, feel the desire to hide, feel the unworthiness or insecurity and in the face of these scary feelings still show up.
Audrey's courage has and will continue to stir inspiration in me. I marvel how she remained ruthlessly heartfelt and gentle with her vulnerability.
