In dark, cloudy days, a bluish grey shadow is cast upon all things under the sky. No contrasts and little saturation. But when the sun finally shines again, all colors pop out brightly, making the individuality of each single element distinguishable.
You could say those colors have always been there, immune to the darkness of rainy days. Or you could say all grey things glow brightly when given the opportunity of a shining sun. Either way, this is how our garden the woods around it looked after three days of constant rain, the sky cleared out and the sun came back shining. Yes, there was also an SPECTACULAR rainbow too (see it in the Stories).
