Photo by @jonathan_irish // There’s a place off the northwest coast of Moorea (in French Polynesia) where you can get up close and personal with stingrays. I don’t advocate the hand feeding of these beautiful creatures, but it is indeed very cool to be so close to them. They will literally crawl up on you, out of the water, if they think you might have food for them (even if you don’t). It’s a pretty crazy experience. Black tip reef sharks frequent the area as well. I spent my time there trying to get some cool over/under shots of this scene, doing my best to capture something interesting below as well as some action above the water.
