Between the two of us we had one good working leg but of course that didn’t stop snowboard cross @paralympics and fellow #teamtoyota gold medalist Evan Strong from taking on the task of carrying me down a sketchy jungle trail to get me into my first ever waterfall!

We only fell 3 times in total but each slip was well worth it when we got there and I finally felt the power of this ancient Hawaiian waterfall. I was beyond awe inspired, it was absolutely euphoric.

Josh Bogel (a flipping quad amputee) not only walked the trail on two prosthetics but got a couple of iPhone shots with no hands on the way down. I just love this community of “disabled” people living our best, most adventurous lives! Our missing or non functioning limbs add so much character to an already colorful experience. .
