Taylor Lee is an abstract painter who creates vivid and electric paintings, and she fuels the energy in these works through what she deems her superpower: her bipolar disorder. Taylor takes the mania she experiences and uses it to her advantage: “I find ways to bring the reality of a stigmatized mental illness into a celebratory light, creating paintings that are buzzing with energy, movement, and loud colors.
