Have you ever paid attention to the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and aren’t? I’ve always told myself (and believed) that I’m an angry and pessimistic person. And I think I was for a lot of my earlier life. But it took @turshen pointing out that I actually wasn’t either of those things for me to recognize how easy it is to get stuck in narratives and ideas of how we are- or how others see us. When I saw this @bekahworleyco button it made it realize how much I want to change that story I’ve told myself about being a pessimist. I want to actively work to be more proactive and positive and there’s no reason that cant be the reality I occupy instead. So here’s to today being a first step in a nee direction and remembering that we can always change ♥️
