A nesting #kittiewake fiercely grabbing at the tail feathers of a fellow bird in an aerial battle in #Svalbard. While spending a couple hours at a massive rookery in #Spitsbergen we witnessed hundreds of moments like this happening among the chaos of nesting birds. The fights were primarily started from these birds stealing nesting material from on another. Let’s face it, nobody likes a thief!
