A midday dream in remote Alaska. The concept of solitude becomes much more tangible in landscapes like this. The constant buzz of your cell phone fades away as connectivity gives way to consciousness. Your breath gets deeper and heart may even feel more full after a time. More than anything a sense of scale sets in.. mountains bigger than any building humans could ever create, glaciers, the ocean, forests & of course the animals all in a sense working together. I’m often perplexed of our place in it. Usually leaving with more questions than answers.
