Omelets are a great choice for breakfast, especially when traveling. The white of the egg is packed with protein and the yolk is full of healthy omega-3’s fats. But if you don’t have fat in your macros in the morning you can easily opt for just egg whites; or if you need to add in some veggies, my go to is always spinach for quick and easy fiber.

Oats are an awesome addition that are slower digesting and a filling option. The type of soluble fiber in oats is what’s linked to lowering cholesterol which in turn lowers your risk of coronary heart disease. The fiber gives oats a low glycemic index which help control sugar level which is so important to maintain help blood sugar levels and help your body burn fat more efficiently to get and stay lean. This blood sugar control also helps to reduce highs and lows in energy, prevent cravings, and help you feel fuller longer.
