A Democratic congresswoman, Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington state, was among some 575 people arrested at the rally protesting the #Trump administration’s zero-tolerance policy on #immigration, the Associated Press reports. Jayapal tweeted that she was proud to be arrested while protesting the policy that has separated families at the southern border.
