I just saw this quote and really liked it- “Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly.” – Charles Addams. I took a solo vacation last week to get my mind a bit back in check to what is *my normal* after what has been a very chaotic, busy, stressful first half of 2018. Sometimes life in general gets overwhelming for me and the most basic tasks become really daunting when I get in this type of funk. I think I need to always have it “together” - whatever that means - and what that looks like for me may look like a total disaster to someone else. Need to remind myself: That. Is. Okay. I wear a LOT of different hats. Some alone time along with starting journaling and refocusing my attention to where I want it to be priority wise- has me feeling much better.
