I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately - please believe me when I say I needed some time off. I’m finishing my Bachelor’s degree within a month (which means writing essays and studying for exams), played my last class concert two days ago, and most importantly - I wanted to spend time with my friends, close or not so close, whom I’m so lucky to have and whom I’ve always thought “I can meet on a less busy day”. I think I took them a bit too granted - because now, realizing that I’m really gonna move soon, I’m trying to make up for lost time. ————————————————————————
With this tune from Beethoven’s 1st violin sonata I’m posting today, I urge you to listen to the whole movement. I’m only playing one little variation here ? and as all music that is meant for more than 1 instrument, it just sounds so much more beautiful with the piano voice. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful, intimate and touching melodies from a second movement I’ve probably ever heard. It made me have one crying eye and one smiling eye when I played it in my last class concert ❤️
