Little relaxed friday morning practice before orchestra rehearsal ?
Trying to get fluenty into the running passages of Mendelssohn’s e-minor violin concerto and trying to still hear each and every note in it. When playing fast passages, I tend to swallow some notes, which ends up in the passage not sounding as brilliant as it potentially could! So I gotta use my ears and actively listen rather than “just play some scales” ?
