"I have never encountered a more challenging environment to photograph than the forest. Finding order amongst the chaos of these towering giants takes time. In the changing light of the early morning, I had to really work for this image, pacing back and forth, over and over. A half step to the left, then a full step back to the right, closer, then further away. I kept doing this until I was finally happy with my composition.
If conditions allow I find it much better to take your time to work the scene, and achieve a good image, rather than rush your composition and walk away with an average image." - @christophersmithcreative
