"Just a short drive out of Sydney, North Narrabeen is a great place for Astro Photography in the early stage of the year. For this photograph I was waiting for the moon to rise at around 11:30pm in hopes of capturing some colour in the sky. The Milky Way core was visible from around 9:00pm and was slowly swinging up into position above the timber walkway. You don’t always need a new moon to be able to go out and capture the Milky Way as long as you know what the moon phase is and when it is rising/setting." -@steveleupen
