Video by @tobyharriman // One of my favorite things to experience is trekking across a glacier. Everything seems to stand still and slow down. Hearing the glacier break up, the crampons crush into the ice, the streams of flowing water and no one in sight. It’s always nice to take it all in and be that tiny speck you see from the air. Visiting these same glaciers yearly is always eye opening, especially when you see the effects of our climate melting them away right before your eyes. It may be beautiful to see, but also sad at times. Taken last year summer with my good friend and photographer @lisabao at Matanuska Glacier in Alaska.
