50 years ago today, we held our first auction in Switzerland.

Our inaugural Geneva sale – a collection of Meissen porcelain – achieved CHF 1,136,450.
.
Half a century on, our Swiss auctions have set world records for jewellery, watches, wine and art – including the highest price for any jewel sold at auction, with the sale of the Oppenheimer Blue in 2016.

Here’s to another 50 landmark years!
