There’s nothing wrong with being a beginner my darlings, nobody ever starts at the top. I remember the day I first held my daughter as a single parent at the age of 19, the fear of the unknown was in fact endless possibility and my lack of understanding beautifully became unconditional love and happiness. When I first picked up a dumbbell at home doing a workout dvd after my second child was born I was as soft and shaky as anything, now I’m a professional vegan bodybuilder stronger than the majority of men and women that I meet. And when I took this picture I was petrified of water and had never worn flippers, I couldn’t walk in them and wanted to get used to the sensation so I sat in the bath and wiggles my toes, a few hours later I swam a coral reef unaided alongside sharks and sea turtles, as free as a fish, my lifelong fear a distant memory. We can all achieve such incredible things in life my darlings, never be afraid to take the first step -----------------------
