Dr. Newhouse is the director of the Vanderbilt Center for Cognitive Medicine in the department of psychiatry and behavioral science. His work looks at the cognitive basis of neuropsychiatric disease. —
I wanted to have him on the show today because his research focuses on specific mechanisms in the brain, like the cholinergic system and the nicotinic cholinergic receptor system. —
