“La Tweety” ? was mine that’s what the called me in Jr. High. I hung out with the cholas and cholos. I wore Mary Janes, teased my hair and loved being with everyone repping our neighborhood. Although I’ve moved on from that life, as an adult I still love the lifestyle, the culture, and everything it represents. We bought this bike to fix up as a hobby. I’m excited to finally get around to doing that. I have ideas for it but we’re gonna hit up a bike show before we commit to a design for it. Never forget where you come from and always celebrate your culture.

I used to be afraid to tell people I hung around a gang and I was a chola because of the judgement. But now I’m like “ORALE” I’m proud of that part of my life it taught me so much. The biggest thing I took away was the importance of family and LOYALTY. Blood doesn’t make you family the bonds you create with others makes you family. I still consider some of those girls my sisters! Something so powerful about a group of passionate women standing for something they love! ??‍♀️ Part of that I still carry with me today. ❤️
