Practicing sports can make us stronger, better human beings and, above all else, heroes. I feel incredibly honored and happy to have met this hero who saved 18 people in the Aegean Sea. She swam ceaselessly for three hours hauling a boat, with sea water burning her eyes and throat. Today, at the age of 20, she is an ambassador for refugees of the UN.

O Esporte nos torna heróis, fortes e sobretudo mais humanos. Eu tenho muita honra e alegria de conhecer essa heroína que salvou 18 pessoas em pleno Mar Egeu. Nadando incansavelmente puxando um bote por três horas e meia, com a água salgada ardendo em seus olhos e garganta. Hoje com 20 anos, ela é Embaixadora pela ONU (Organização das Nações Unidas) para refugiados.
