hello hello it is me back from hibernation??! I got the flu as soon as I landed in Vancouver which was f-u-n ? but I’m feeling much better now??

I didn’t train the past few days just to speed up my recovery (hello self-love?), so here’s a bit of the training I did in mexico! because the gym was limited in equipment etc, I got creative via plyometrics and HIIT training with some glute work??

➖DB Romanian deadlifts 3x10 —> toe taps 3x30

➖Single standing DB abduction 3x10 —> lateral hop overs 3x20

➖HIIT via treadmill w/ incline -> I did 6 rounds of 20-25 sprints (17.5 kph) with 30 seconds of rest

?in terms of cardio, I actually enjoy it?. I don’t sweat often when weight lifting, so cardio lets me break a sweat and work on my endurance at the same time. an important goal of mine is to be a better, well-rounded athlete. so I find that including weights, some cardio (about 3 sessions a week of ss / hiit), and mobility work makes me feel more “wholesome” at the gym?. I also have a background in track and X-country running, so it’s nice to pick it back up?
