Looking pretty in here. Can’t wait to tile our backsplash and add some color! Also - see the TWO pocket doors? That entire space is our 4’ x 8’ bathroom with vanity, composting toilet, huge shower (that even 5’9” Ellen can stand in and be under the shower head), and a closet with hanging storage and drawers for daily clothes (basically work gear for Ellen and yoga clothes for me). Adelaide’s things will be relocated to convenient drawers under her bed.
Other new things: our fridge from @vitrifrigoamericallc has changed our lives...we have room for all the things and can go to the grocery once a week instead of three, which is amazing with our work schedules.
The laundry closet has a door, and we built pantry shelves above our all-in-one ventless W/D from LG. The to-do list is long, but we’re getting closer and closer! Not bad for only having weekends to work on it since we bought it in October, though living in it while renovating has certainly made it feel longer (and impossible) at many points. Overall though, we know that we made the right decision to gain more space for our family and business, and we couldn’t be more in love with this simple home.
