We’ve done way too much driving this week, but it was worth it to see friends from South Africa in Utah, my Grandpa in Kansas, and next up, the @lasportivana crew at Tuckfest this weekend in North Carolina. Last week reminded me how nice it is to sleep out under the stars and cold air, and also how thankful I am for home when the wind is howling and the incessant flapping of the tent’s rainfly is helping no one sleep. At least Micky and Vicky caught a moment of gustless campfire serenity before we all went our separate ways.
