slightly sun drunk after a seemingly endless winter - waking up in Israel this morning weary but elated with a city completely new to me and a maze of streets restaurants and sights to explore .

Sun on my skin and sea breezes as I unfurl from a cramped ten plus hour flight - coffee and street corners and the lively chatter of a language I can not understand but that awakens a very elemental feeling and that thing I love most about travel - a mix of the familiar with bewilderment - creating a childlike sense of understanding and the pleasant state of being able to do nothing but soak it all in
