a long sunday walk under merled skies - blues and greys streaked with white - out little party of people and dogs all happy to shake off a bit of cabin fever .

coat collars pulled up to our ears against the surprising April cold, making towards home as the sun started to drop - the promise of ash wood fires on the horizon line

and now we are all piled into the kitchen pulling stray bits and leftovers from the back of the fridge, opening bottles of red and positioning to get the last few crumbles of cheese off the board - sunday stuff
