searching for signs of spring - the air is heavy with bird song and I’ve been busy wandering around the neighborhood at the city cottage - scanning window boxes and flower beds for inspiration, banking them away for the next phase of our renovation which entails digging out the asphalt (the entire lots worth) and putting in grass and garden beds and perhaps even a patio for balm summer meals alfresco - which at this very moment seems like the most luxurious thing I can imagine .
