My original plan in going to SW Utah was to send a route at Cathedral called “Golden,” which I’ve repetitiously fallen off the last moves of. Granted, the final crux is in the last stretch of the head wall, but I thought that I could polish it off quickly. While in SW Utah I was a little stir-crazy to experience all that exists around the region and I found my focus wasn’t just directed to a single route. The trip organically transpired into a sampling of classics in different areas. I experienced some quick sends of aesthetic lines like “Pucker” and “Pussy Cat” onsight at the ‘Wailing Wall,’ linked up with @jorge.visser @randyleavitt at Hurricave (pictured here), and continued on to #Moab with @escalaura1 @kevinrcapps . @tjtriage and I have a video in the works in collaboration with #GoPro from a new series we will be launching Friday; can’t wait to share some more about this trip!!! ?
