A Somali teenager enjoys a moment of reflection in the warm water of the Gulf of Aden in Berbera, Somaliland. Shot on assignment for the Wall Street Journal by @tommy.trenchard, the aim of this project was to present a nuanced depiction of life in a part of the world most people know little about. Armed with the Fujifilm X-T20 and XF16-55mmF2.8, Tommy waded into the water to capture the scene.
