Going about his daily work, this young miner carries a load of sulphur up the steep slope of the Kawah Ijen crater, eastern Java. Captured by @tommy.trenchard with the #Fujifilm X-T20, this image was part of a project about the incredible work of a group of local men who climb this active volcano every day before climbing down inside the crater to extract the mineral. Using the XF10-24mm, Tommy was able to capture the sense of drama in the open space of the peak of the Ijen volcano.
