Wanting to capture the daily life, rather than the usual images of a region more commonly associated with conflict, @tommy.trenchard took this image of Somali children playing football next to the crumbling remains of Ottoman-era buildings in Berbera, Somaliland. Shot on an assignment for the Wall Street Journal, Tommy opted for the Fujifilm X-T20 and XF10-24mm to get close to his subjects to portray a sense of the vivacity and dynamism of the scene.
